The 2022 NBA Draft is finally in the rearview mirror. We’re on to next year. Perhaps this is our Happy Gilmore moment, standing in the batting cage and getting softballs pelted at our exhausted body in hopes of toughening up for the next draft cycle. But we are trying to get a jumpstart on next year’s class and piece together all of our thoughts — on the incoming freshmen, the returning upperclassmen and the standout international prospects we’ve noticed. It’s far too early for a mock draft, or a deep dive on every prospect available. Our master spreadsheet for the 2023 NBA Draft has a list of nearly 500 names we are tracking — we’re insane, but not insane enough to go over each one.
