We have officially reached draft week. The 2024 NBA Draft will begin on Wednesday, June 26, with the Atlanta Hawks facing a decision that will not only impact their organization but the rest of how this year's draft will play out. For the first time in many years, there is no clear-cut name sitting at the top of NBA Draft boards. As a result, NBA mock drafts are all over the place. Many teams around the league anticipate the Hawks selecting Zaccharie Risacher, a 6'10” French wing who possesses the potential to be an impactful two-way talent. Then there are other teams that believe Donovan Clingan, a two-time national champion at UConn, is the player who will go first overall after an impressive workout with the Hawks. Although Alex Sarr was long viewed as the early favorite to be the first overall selection after Atlanta was awarded the first pick, the Hawks haven't hosted the French big man for a workout. In fact, there are rumors spreading that Sarr and his camp would prefer not to be the first pick for situational reasons.
